Layover In Japan
The Hostels
After a very confusing couple hours spent in the Tokyo airport (where literally no one spoke English), we finally found a bus to our hostel. Getting off the bus and spending an hour walking to our hostel on the side of the road while our bodies were operating at 4:00am Minnesota time certainly made things interesting. Once we made it to our destination, we immediately passed out from exhaustion. Once we recovered from the jet lag, we decided to explore the area we were staying in. It was in a very remote part of the city, but still super cool. It was full of amazing architecture, super pretty rice fields, and two way roads that were only big enough for one car.
Tokyo was incredibly hot so trying to adjust from our Minnesota climate was rather difficult. It was incredibly humid and near 100 degrees. So we made it a quick stop and then made our way into the countryside of Japan.
